2022 Fall Supercross Round 6 Protests – Virginia Beach, VA

450 Pro

Protested Player: Caleb Hall (uid: 10047)
Protested by: Alec Horn (uid: 19554)
Race: Heat 2
Demo Time: 0:47, 2:54
Incident: First incident, rider cross jumps me after the wall with no attempt to avoid or correct. Second incident speaks for itself.

Verdict: In the first incident, both Alec and Caleb cross jump each other with no intentions behind it. Racing Incident. Prior to the second incident, Caleb and Alec both get very close together and have some sketchy moments causing one or the other to crash.  But during the second incident Alec aggressively blocks the inside line more than likely knowing that Caleb was on his inside. Caleb then expresses his frustrations by taking Alec out with no intention of stopping for the corner. The targeting in this scenario will result in a 1 week suspension for Caleb.

450 Am

Protested Player: Oliver Kamp (uid: 42934)
Protested by: Carson Mainquist (uid: 41611)
Race: LCQ
Demo Time: 1:27-1:38
Incident: Rider crosses to another section of the track then rides straight into me.

Verdict: Oliver is in last place significantly and cuts the track to intentionally take out another rider. Upon further inspection, Oliver was cleaning out every rider within sight during the LCQ and did not even try to race. This is disrespectful to all the other riders and the racing series in general. This will be a ban until further notice.

Protested Player: Alex Cunningham (uid: 7878)
Protested by: Loris Modard (uid: 23106)
Race: Main Event
Demo Time: 13:55
Incident: Alex races me while he should let me by, and goes down, and collides with me in the crash. He should get penalized for not respecting blue flag and taking out leader (even if it’s unintentional, it should have been like that…)

Verdict: Alex gets up from a crash and does not get the blue bar until he crashes. It is possible that he could have known that was a leader, but there’s no way to know for sure. Loris unfortunately hits Alex’s flying body from the crash causing Loris to crash. If the blue bar had been there, then this could have resulted in a penalty. However, since this was clearly not intentional and there’s no clear way for Alex to have known he was being lapped. This is a racing incident.

250 Am

Protested Player: Max Vohland (uid: 47539)
Protested by: Carson Mainquist (uid: 41611)
Race: Main Event
Demo Time: 2:00-2:08
Incident: Rider comes up the inside and punts

Verdict: Max makes an aggressive but clean pass on the inside of Carson. No signs of targeting, no track cut. Just a clean aggressive pass. No penalty.

Protested Player: Jordan Miller (uid: 36618)
Protested by: Carson Mainquist (uid: 41611)
Race: Main Event
Demo Time: 13:17, 13:40, and 16:13
Incident: Punts Me and Brake checks in attempts to clean me.

Verdict: In the first incident, Jordan makes an aggressive pass that causes himself and Carson to go down. In the second incident it looks like Jordan makes an attempted pass but backs out of it at the last second as to not make contact. In the final incident Jordan and Carson make contact mid-air on the quad and then Jordan brake checks Carson causing him to go down on the final lap of the race. This did not cause Carson to lose positions and probably would’ve not gained him any positions other than Jordan staying up. Warning for aggressive racing.

Protested Player: Casey Cochran (uid: 22060)

Incident: Comes through the whoops In 5th gear with no intention of turning while hes a lap down in 16th and goes flying into the other lane

Verdict: Casey Attempts to take out Austin, who is a leader, but misses. There is context behind the takeout so no suspension/ban. However, Casey has been disqualified from the race.  Positions docked to 22nd and stripped of any prize earnings from the round.

Protested by: Loris Modard (uid: 23106)
Race: Heat 2
Demo Time: 7:15
Incident: Johannes takes me out on purpose

250 Am

Protested Player: Jimmy Griffin (uid: 31491)
Protested by: Carson Mainquist (uid: 41611)
Race: LCQ
Demo Time: 1:17
Incident: Cross jumps off track then cross jumps back onto it.

Verdict: Jimmy jumps outside of the bales in a rhythm section, and jumps back onto the main track, taking out another rider. Warning for unsafe track re-entry.

Protested Player: Dj Carawan (uid: 29178)
Protested by: Jace Williams (uid: 43203)
Race: Main Event
Demo Time: 5:13-5:50
Incident: He gets the blue flag early in the lap and proceeds to ride like no one is behind him he had multiple opportunities to let me pass and move on with the moto but he proceeds to ride like a moron and takes me out I ran into the back of him which was my mistake but he had so many chances to let me pass.

Verdict: DJ does not obey the blue flag, eventually causing a collision with a leader. DJ does not intentionally take out the leader and holds a line out of the main line. Therefore, only a warning. Warning for not obeying blue flag.

450 Pro

Protested Player: Riley Hughan (uid: 23127)
Protested by: Alec Horn (uid: 19554)
Race: Main Event
Demo Time: 13:15, 14:30
Incident: Lag was insane. Phases through the jump and kills me in a corner.

Verdict: Riley’s connection to the server causes two avoidable crashes.  Warning for lag related incident.  If this continues to be an issue, Riley will unfortunately be unable to race the series.

250 Pro

Protested Player: Dalton Plessinger (uid: 14796)
Protested by: Casey Cochran (uid: 22060)
Race: Heat 2
Demo Time: Last lap of heat
Incident: wont move for leader and takes me out on purpose perma ban def needed

Verdict: Dalton gets the blue flag at 5:36, and does not move for the leader for an entire whole lap. On the final lap, Dalton cross jumps the leader causing him to go down.  Upon further review, it does not seem like Dalton was targeting like the protester suggests.  However, Dalton did have many opportunities to move for the leader and did not, and caused the leader to crash because of this.  1 week suspension for failure to waiver for the blue flag and causing a leader to crash.

450 Am

Protested Player: Ethan Commodore (uid: 23829)
Protested by: Noah Karassy (uid: 19791)
Race: Main Event
Demo Time: 6:09-ish
Incident: t-boned me when i went to lap him

Verdict: Ethan receives the blue flag to move for Noah at around 5:40.  Ethan receives multiple opportunities to move for the leader.  Then once he gets lapped, he takes out the leader with no intention of stopping for the corner.  This is a blatant form of targeting and will not be accepted. 6 week suspension for targeting a leader as a lapper.

250 Am

Protested Player: Collin Clark (uid: 32476)
Protested by: Carson Mainquist (uid: 41611)
Race: Main Event
Demo Time: 7:30
Incident: gets sketchy in whoops and hits me from it then comes and takes me out again after he gets up also just generally a hazard on the track causing many accidents

Verdict: Collin gets sketchy in the whoops and causes himself to hit another rider, this is a racing incident.  However, Collin rejoins the race unsafely twice causing him to hit the same rider again. Warning for rejoining the race in an unsafe manner.

Protested Player: Tyler Anderson (uid: 24861)
Protested by: Carson Mainquist (uid: 41611)
Race: Heat and Main
Demo Time: All Race

Verdict: Invalid protest, protest is too broad and vague.  No specific incident given. No Penalty.

2022 Fall Supercross Round 2 Protests – Glacier View, AK

Protests will be a little scuffed in format this week because the person reviewing the protests did not save any useful information about them.

250 Am

Protested Player: Colten Hagler (uid: 26137)
Protested By: Collen Allen (uid: 24272)

Verdict: Colton makes a mistake before the big double, forcing him to roll. Colton was given the blue flag before he crested the take-off, and crashed a leader in the following turn intentionally. Colton proceeded to battle leaders and ride dangerously for the remainder of the race. He never made an attempt to make room for leaders. 2 week suspension for intentionally taking out leaders and disrespecting the blue flag.

Protested Player: Jayden Gomez (uid: 18665)
Protested By: Tyler More (uid: 44882)

Verdict: Jayden shifts up to 5th gear for the last corner and holds the gas on all the way into the position in front of him. Since this was for position, on the last corner and last lap, the penalty will only be a 1 week suspension. There is still a suspension because Jayden made no attempt to make a pass, only a take-out

Protested Player: Emmanuel Cepeda (uid: 10106)
Protested By: Johannes Strandberg (uid: 47804)

Verdict: Throughout the last few laps, Emmanuel does not respect the blue flag, and refuses to make room for leaders. Emmanuel was given the blue flag for #148 for an entire lap, before getting passed by #148 after a crash. Emmanuel then goes to the inside of the leader and makes contact, causing the leader to crash and lose a position. 1 week suspension due to Emmanuel making an attempt to avoid contact, but sliding into the leader
